No. They only need the link and the code we send them. The account is for the sender, so nobody can send in someone else's name.

Whoever receives it downloads nothing: the code goes to the address written on the transfer, not to whoever opens the link.

As long as the sender chooses, from half an hour to three hours. And it disappears as soon as the recipient has finished downloading it.

What if the connection drops halfway?

It resumes from the exact byte where it stopped. That holds for both uploading and collecting.

In a private area on the company Microsoft 365. They never rest on the server disk: they only pass through.

Up to 2 GB per transfer, several files together. The upload is chunked and resumes after a dropped connection.
